In a medium saucepan boil water and cook pasta to instructions.
Rinse and trim fresh asparagus, set aside.
Rinse uncooked shrimp, peel and devein if needed and set aside.
In a pan on medium heat add butter and garlic.
Once butter is melted mix in flour to make a roux. Add white wine, lemon juice, shrimp, asparagus and seasonings.
Cook until shrimp is fully cooked and asparagus is tender.
Add in cooked pasta and toss until mixed well.
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
